Prague, Czech Republic - 24 November 2011: Slevomat has acquired a share in Bónusz Brigád, which operates the largest daily deals site in Hungary. It has also agreed to cooperate with daily deals sites across seven countries of Central and Eastern Europe (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania).
As a result, forming the largest group of daily deals sites in the region - the Slevomat Group - with the ambition of rapidly expanding into other areas of e-commerce.
The Slevomat Group now offers a range of local services to two million registered users altogether and it is planning to expand into goods such as fashion, toys, and electronics.
The Slevomat Group companies expect to gain a tight sharing of business knowledge and applications, and coordination of deals across the countries, as well as faster development of other areas of e-commerce.
For users, partners, and customers of the companies in the Slevomat Group, the existing operations remain unchanged with the agreements. All the parties involved have agreed that no further details of mutual agreements will be published at this time.
